St Kitts & Nevis PBO: additional-dependant contributions on the CIU page
The St Kitts and Nevis Citizenship Unit publishes separate Public Benefit Option amounts for each additional dependant beyond a family of four: US$25,000 if under 18, and US$50,000 if 18 or over. Those lines are now in the CIP programme register.

Key points
- The CIU Public Benefit Option page lists, under contribution requirements, US$25,000 for each additional dependant under 18 and US$50,000 for each additional dependant 18 or over, beyond a main applicant or family of up to four.
- The main contribution for a main applicant or family of up to four remains US$250,000 in a unit of an Approved Public Benefit Project, paid to the Unit, as on the same page.
- CIP programme register v0.2.1 (21 October 2026) now carries the same additional-dependant lines on the PBO row, matching the CIU page.
- This article fills the fee gap left open in our earlier PBO explainer, which omitted the figures until the register was updated.
Additional dependants on the CIU PBO page
The St Kitts and Nevis Citizenship Unit (CIU) Public Benefit Option page (accessed 22 October 2026) sets out contribution requirements for the Public Benefit Option (PBO). For a main applicant or a family of up to four, the minimum contribution remains US$250,000 in a unit of an Approved Public Benefit Project, paid to the Unit.
Under the same contribution block, the CIU lists separate amounts for each additional dependant beyond that family of four:
| Additional dependant | Amount published by the CIU |
|---|---|
| Each additional dependant under 18 | US$25,000 |
| Each additional dependant 18 years or over | US$50,000 |
These government figures are also on the CIP programme register PBO line (v0.2.1, 21 October 2026). They are not Beyond Borders fees. Professional and third-party costs are separate.
